Dr. Amanda
Doctor of Chiropractic, CACCP (Pregnancy & Pediatric Certified)

Dr. Amanda grew up in Chassell and attended Houghton High School.  She then attended Michigan Tech University and received a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.  She moved to Bloomington, MN where she attended Northwestern Health Sciences University and received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2016.  Dr. Amanda practiced in Shakopee, MN for 3 ½  years before returning to the UP in spring 2020, eager to care for the community in her hometown.

Dr. Amanda was first introduced to Chiropractic as a teen when recurring injuries kept her out of the sports she loved to play.  With regular adjustments, she was not only able to resume the sports she was missing, but also perform at a higher level.  After experiencing the positive benefits of care for herself, she decided to pursue a Chiropractic career with the goal of helping other athletes.

While in Chiropractic school, Dr. Amanda joined the pediatric club. She developed a passion for wellness care for the entire family, and subsequently broadened her focus to include prenatal and pediatric chiropractic.  After receiving her Chiropractic license, she went on to complete additional certifications for the care of children and pregnant moms.

Dr Amanda is certified in Pediatric Chiropractic (CACCP) through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (icpa4kids.com).  This is a rigorous 200 class hour program that includes an in-office research project as well as a final examination. She is one of the only Chiropractors with this certification in the entire Upper Peninsula.  She is also certified in the Webster Technique for pregnancy.  She currently resides in Chassell with her husband Eric, and their two beautiful girls Kinsley and Delaney.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside with family and friends and helping her parents at the Crane Berry Farm.
